FMCG global leader is looking for Assistant Manager - Consumer Insight & Sensory (with Food Science background) to be based in Nilai - Negeri Sembilan / Shah Alam - Selangor

- 5 working days / Week
- 13 month salary (12 month + 1 month contractual bonus)

Job Responsibilities
- To perform trend analysis , competitor landscape for condiments. (Malaysia / APAC)
- To work on APAC projects along with cross function team to define design research method, issue, planning & execution research efficiently, interpret data & insight for biz decision making.
- To work along with cross function team, ensure best product experience meeting local consumer needs.
- To conduct quantitative / qualitative consumer research for region , and also global projects.
- To apply product technical story telling framework for driving product communications & claims.
- To have / and experience in sensory methodologies, maintenance, and perform panel recruitment.
- To execute sensory test protocols & panel training.
- To serve taste panels, make sure tests conducted faultless and accurately.
- To perform descriptive and discrimination tests analysis.
- To establish external partner, agencies, digital tools in order to extend consumer technical insights and sensory capabilities in APAC region.
- To work closely and partnering within consumer technical insight & sensory team member for global projects and learning application to APAC zoning.

Qualifications
Job Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science / Science or related.
- Without Food Science / Science but having related sensory marketing experience also will be considered .
- B2C experience is preferably. B2B also can be considered.
- FYI CTI workload 50% ; Sensory workload 50%
- Preferably Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG industry, such as food/daily care company.
- Preferably Minimum 3 years of experiences in sensory and consumer technical research, or marketing research.
- Experienced in qualitative and quantitative consumer research and good at translating key learnings and insight into actional plans and Consumer research experience in food service related is preferred.
- Solid experience in trend and competitor analysis is preferred.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work collaboratively across regions and with cross functional partners.
- Good at framing the actual problem and action oriented, result driven personality.
- Sensible , grounded, practical , pragmatism, flexibility and quick adaptation.
- Familiar with Asian cuisine and culinary tradition and passionate about foods will be a bonus.
- Technologically proficient on AI / Digital Tools will be an added advantage.
