GROUP ACCOUNTANT

MYR10,000 to MYR13,000
5.5 Working days (Only work for 2 Saturday per month - Half day)

JOB DESCRIPTION

To establish, or recommend to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives and policies for the company.
To prepare reports which summaries and forecast company business activities and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.
To review budget proposals, and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justifications.
To provide management with timely reviews of organisation's financial status and progress in its various programmes and activities.
To advise management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax rate revisions.
Check and approve all payments, including payments by cheques,telegraphic transfers, bank drafts and petty cash.
To oversee the credit control function by managing proper debt collection and credit terms.
To review monthly financial statements, consist of balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, cash flow statements, etc.
To prepare financial forecast and budgetary reviews and ensure strong management control.
To attend periodic management meetings to discuss major company issues.
To advise, plan, execute and coordinate for the GST implementations.
Contribute to management decision making by providing financial information and advice.
To manage and supervise all accounts personnel (including the subsidiary companies).
To liaise with Company Secretary and co-operate with them to fulfill the requirements set by the statutory board.
To co-ordinate and liaise with other departments with regards to financial matters.
Arrange for audits of company's accounts.
To prepare reports required by regulatory bodies.
To check and approve debit/credit notes and release of orders on hold.
Handle any ad-hoc matters related to financial matters.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

MIA membership
IPO Exercise will be an added advantage.
8 - 10 years' experience in audit, tax or corporate finance exposure, preferably with manufacturing background.
Multi Task and sense of urgency.
Good communication skills
Senior Management role, required maturity, commercial experience &corporate exposure with high level of integrity and independence
Willing to work at Semenyih, Selangor
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday 9:00am - 1:00pm, (2nd & 4th week Sat off)
1 Full Time Position Available
